So You Want To Build A Van

First and foremost we are Aspen Custom Vans and as the name would imply, we create bespoke camper vans for our clients. But to help prospective clients better understand the possibilities of building a van, we've assembled a few examples of different price points, options, and popular configurations.

Buttermilk

Buttermilk

The Buttermilk build is a great first van. Fast and light, the van is built on a short wheelbase diesel Sprinter, with stock body styling and minimal cosmetic additions to the exterior of the van. There is running water, cold only, wool insulation, vinyl flooring, one extractor fan for airflow, basic cabinetry and galley, LED overhead lighting, and upholstered panels from floor to ceiling.

Snowmass

The Snowmass build is perfect for a family of three or four. Based on the longer Sprinter platform, this built includes a battery bank large enough to keep the kids iPads charged and the parents laptops juiced up while on the go. There are two extractor vans to circulate air throughout the van, additional screen windows, a gorgeous wood cedar roof, queen sized bed, bunk beds for the kids, and plenty of kitchen space for cooking and entertaining.

The Ajax build combines the best of function and luxury. Hot and cold water, heated by propane. A standalone heating system to keep the cabin warm on cold summer nights and winter camping without running the vehicle's diesel engine. Built in propane stove, butchers block countertop, and fold-down leather bench seating. with extra storage. Custom two-tone fabric wrapped wall panels, multifunctional reading lights, and a plush nine inch foam mattress.

Highlands

Highlands

The Highlands build is the ultimate platform to transport you to and from the great outdoors. The Highlands van is built on a six-wheel 144 Sprinter platform with four wheel drive and a larger engine. The build comes standard with rocker guards, engine and transmission skid plates, and a winch rated to 12,000lbs to get you out of muddy off-road situations.
